Genrykh Vagner, born in 1922, Poland, graduated from the Belarusian State Conservatoire (prof. A.V. Bagatyrow’s class of composition, 1951). People’s Artist of Belarus, 1988. Member of the Composers’ Union of Belarus, 1949.
Principal compositions: an opera «The Path of Life», 3 ballets, 2 vocal symphonic poems «Forever Alive», «For Heroes of Brest», instrumental concertos, songs, chamber music.
